M&R Mlink DTG Printer
« on: November 10, 2017, 10:23:53 AM »
M&R Mlink
Shultz Pretreat Machine
Lots of ink and pretreat including some brand new still unopened.
Extra pallets.
Just add a heat press and you are ready to rock.

This machine is one of the lower cost of ink use/waste on the market period. Produces great prints and you can see many on my social media including videos of it printing. Also we have a thread on this very forum going over ink cost/use and speed of the machine as well as pictures of prints. The machine is already been pulled out of service last week and ink removed from the heads and its ready to pick up or ship. I would recommend having M&R set up and train any one buying this machine, that would be at your cost. We can help you to some degree but we are a busy shop so we wouldn't be your quickest resource for that.

Set up was over 45k new. 20k. If you are interested quickest way to get me is by email. brandt@graphicdisorder.com

I can provide machine pictures if you like as well.

Just not ideal for our current staff or space. Our second artist was running it along with our sticker machine and doing art. We are currently booking MID December on art because he's tied up so much doing DTG/Stickers. So that is a big problem for us, so something has to give. DTG is the thing we are least known for so that makes the most sense.

That's a great deal for someone to jump on! If I knew we'd be able to put it to use, I'd snag it, but not sure about the market for dtg around here.

There is rarely a market for anything until you build that market by getting out an "knocking on doors".....There are 2 DTG machines sitting collecting dust in my neighbourhood because the owners did not put an effort into selling the goods they could produce......

That's is a good price and buying from Brandt would be a no brainer as we all know he takes good care of his equipment, I thought real hard about buying one a year back, but decided it would take to much out of my day and other workload fooling around with a couple of shirts here and there which would be in our case, doing custom art for DTG takes time.

What is the print time for something like 12x16?  Which version of the Schulze?  Which pretreat?  The ink is dupont right?

I dont have print time data in front of me anymore. I covered some print times in the thread I created when I got the machine. I doubt we ever printed a 12x16 images to be honest. We printed a lot of 14x16+ images, and some left chest and front chests but doubt anything that exact size.

The Schulze is the Pretreat 3, we use M&R Pretreat and I believe they do use Dupont Ink for the Mlink at M&R.

Is the M&R pretreat a relabel?  Any issues with staining or washability?  Have only used imagearmor and firebird in our shop to date, but we also use the dupont inks.  I'll poke through the old thread for print times.

This is the actual Schulze brand machine. M&R I believe now relabels that machine. We have only had issues with stain early on when M&R changed to a different formula of Pre-treat. But thats been about a year or so ago. It was brief issue, but thats not a machine issue that just a formula issue.

I meant the actual pretreat, not the machine.  Wasn't sure if M&R was actually making it or just relabeling the dupont pretreat or something.

I don't know if they are making it or if its just passing through them. There was a change that wasn't good, but it changed again and things are great since.
