new starlight 3140

first question:  Does it just stay on all of the time?  I'm guessing after a while, it goes into sleep mode but I still hear a humming.
second question: I've always used the step wedge test method to test for screen burn times.  What did you guys do for the starlight with the i-Image? (which i also have brand new and the tech is coming in tomorrow)

A couple times I taped a Saati exposure test film to the screen to figure out exposure early on since we don't use glass.

Yes, no off button the screen just goes to sleep.  Very low power especially since we don't use the vacuum.
