venting our gas dryer

I`m looking for a shorter way for our exhaust pipe. Right now it runs approx 11 yards through our shop + office before reaching the outside of the building.
Now I can`t vent though the roof as we have still 2 floors above our shop.
The shortest way out would be left from the dryer through the wall, roughly 2 yards. Once through the wall there is half a yard to the next building. Would anything speak against it to run it through the wall and then up the side of the outer building wall till it reaches the roof? That would mean 3 times  90 degree bents and then straight up for around 20 yards. Too long?

Not ideal but other options not much better. Too many bends=poor flow

Correct ducting, sizeing, stactic pressure is
Put in place with inline draft inducers/ exhaust
Blowers to accommodate correct exhaust airflow.
Needs to be done by local HVAC company to insure success.
This is done everyday for kitchens, factories,workshops all
Over the world. Not to be done or even considered by yourself
Or friends unless they are well versed in HVAC requirements!

We did ours, and we haven't died yet.    That being said it goes almost straight up with 2 30 degree bends.  We are going to have it redone though.  Just to add some more insulation...and a pro is redoing it.

I wouldn't touch one that goes that far with bends.

First thing I would do is talk to the manufacturer, give those specs to the HVAC person.

Any of you guys that have gas dryers in your building use those carbon detectors, I think that's what they are called, if not would that be a good idea to have them?

Carbon Monoxide detectors...yes, it's a great idea to have those, and to replace them when the expire.  They also make explosive gas detectors now as well, not sure how well they work.

 guess if they don't work there is no unhappy customers to complain about them.
