Flash Correct time/temp?

Is there any way to measure what the correct time / temp when flashing?
None of the measuring devices I have will react fast enough.
Maybe a test strip will work.
How do you work out flash time/temp?

You want the ink to just start gelling, so if you touch it with your finger, it's "dry", which will let top colors stick to the base better. Too much heat and the top colors will start washing off in the laundry. We've never used a device for that, just "touch". Start low, increase the time until it works, print something, take it home and wash it a few times, that should tell you. Obviously, less dwell time under the flash means more shirts at the end of the day.

Hi Maxie, so simple , start setting your flash curing unit at 850 degrees,(if your flash unit doesn't have a setting device just wait 15 min to warm up) place your print under the heat and wait about 10 secs, touch the print
to check if it :)s dry, as you run your production you can increase or decrease the flashing time.
