Anyone bite the bullet or using the trial version?
Thoughts?
What version were you using prior to this?

Wow, no one? I'm glad that I don't own Corel stock, LOL!

no, I didn't buy it. I recently spent a few hundred bucks on upgrading to X8 and now they want to charge me again to be more compatible to Win 10 and less bugs? GFY.

I am still on x6.  It's a solid program and I have a lot of macros that barely work on 6, so I doubt they would work on anything higher.

Does X8 give you much more than your previous version? (and what was that one?)

I came from X4, I have X6 as well but I didn't care for it so i went back to X4 until I went to win 10, then I had to upgrade. I use all of Tom's plug-ins so I had to email him for the updates but everything else works great -for the most part- X8 hot keys tend to stop working towards the end of the day so I have to restart it. I hit "Z" for the zoom tool and instead of zooming out on a right mouse button click, it will zoom in until maximum level is achieved. junk like that.

I also bought X8. I use simple seps daily and Tom helped me get it running on X8. After about a week I said screw it and went back to X6 because while Simple Seps runs great, every other aspect of X8 is a joke. Corel really blew it with that update. I can imagine what the 2017 edition would run like. X8 felt like I was running a beta version.

Not a chance I will upgrade to this 2017 joke.

Windows 7 for life....or at least until I absolutely have to upgrade. Man I'm getting old.
