Print/flood speeds Different machines
« on: April 21, 2017, 08:02:50 AM »
Can one assume that the print flood speeds in different machines are the same?
I'd you set the speed to 50% on the MHM, M&R and S Roque will the actual speed be similar on all the machines.

unless they are actually measured in distance traveled per second, then no, I would say they are all different.  Like Bimm said, even same presses will be different.  Especially with air.

Ok, different.  But will they be close to each other?

Ok, different.  But will they be close to each other?

Quick answer:
1: Motor has an established RPM
2: Manufacturer generally gears that
3: Drives it with a AC: frequency drive controller or  DC: motor controller
4. Software displays a number sometime 1-10, sometimes  f/pm sometimes slow/medium/fast

Unless all items are identical than "no" could you calibrate them all and make them all the same through software, "yes" assuming AC only and assuming the incoming voltage is consistent or the there is a built
Conversion factor ("see dryer belt timing change issues for explanation")

Hope that helps

If you are refering to sppeed, then motors go at different rpms. But, the time you need for a good print is always different, whheather your flooding of printing. Along with offcontact mesh count  etc etc
