RoqTunnel Vs. Sprint 3000

Hey all!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I am curious on your thoughts regarding the Roqtunnel vs a Sprint 3000. The specs would be 60"W, 4'in, 15'Chamber, 4'out. I really seam to like the bells and whistles such as recall on the Sprint, but the consumption on the Roqtunnel is very enticing. At the end of the day I know both are going to dry t shirts, but want to get best bang for my buck.

I don't get involved with the color wars but no matter what if you are getting 15" feet of chamber I highly recommend more feet in and a lot more feet out. Will allow two autos. Just my opinion.

Or feed one auto and two manuals. We do that now.

You could also look into the airjet from Interchange.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.

Love our Sprint 3000, but you will want more in and out feed. For sure. I think ours is 8ft in and out and I wouldn't even mind more.

Agreed, you will want more in and out feed. Even with 8' of heat chamber, 4' out will burn. Also with the 3000's garage door on the back side​, I think the standard would be 8'.

Not getting into brand wars.
We looked at both of these dryers when makeing our new purchase. They both were very impressive and would suit our needs.

Ultimately we stayed with M&R.

Sorry all, I misquoted. Yes it is 8'in and 8'out!! We currently have an Interchange Airjet and have been really happy with that, but looking to add another and I need something with less consumption as the Airjet.

You have an airjet, which is probably one of the better built dryers all the way around! You have mentioned
Nothing about performance, which pound for pound the airjet more than holds its own. If you want consumption of gas to fall on the airjet then replace 7.5hp motor with a 5hp. Or if you want to sip gas
Put a 3hp. You can not have the lack of consumption of gas with great performance pound for pound
On any dryer, as long as it is well insulated. A btu is a btu period. Unless your itching to spend some money!

Does anyone that has switched from M&R to ROQ have any real world numbers on gas consumption? We are looking to add a Gas dryer and have heard that the ROQs are more efficient over all... just hoping to hear from those that have made the switch.
