Lawson LED 5000 exposure unit
« on: March 14, 2017, 11:21:29 AM »
I am finally crawling into the new millennium. I picked up my new Lawson LED exposure unit last week and I am loving it.

It has decreased my exposure times almost by half.

It is my first step towards going to CTS by mid year. Going to half to get used to new exposure times and tweaking those times. I have used exposure units varying from fluorescent bulbs to halogen light over the years so this is quite a luxury for us.

Congrats!  I've got the exact same unit.  I had to modify it for cts.  My go to is still the amerigraph 150 for halftone work though, especially for over 55 lpi.  If I had to do it again and they were available at the time, I would've chosen the starlight or ryonets led with the saati led bulb.
It's not a job if you love doing it.
