Here is one difference to consider. If you buy the Nuarc and are not 100% happy with the unit for any reason you can return it for a a full refund. I do have to forewarn you though. We don't have any that have came back! LOL!

Violux is a good option too, I've had a couple, still use a 5K now. If you go NuArc, check the pricing on parts replacements. In the olden days, say the 80's, before their current affiliation, they were major ripoffs on parts. I had to replace a timer in a process camera, and they wanted $250 for it, I bought it from ATC (the manufacturer) for $50.00. Those are 1980's dollars by the way...
