Activator 2/17
« on: February 17, 2017, 02:37:37 PM »
Hi Everyone...

Question - is the CCI discharge activator the same as the Rutland discharge activator?
Running low on CCI, and I have plenty of the Rutland powder... Figured I would ask before
experimenting...

Thanks.  John

Yes.

We like CCI though as it's a finer grind and dissolves easier.

But otherwise, it's all the same.

Its all the same.  The Sericol is a really fine grind that we do use it with the process colors (I doubt it matters but use it anyways). We primarily use Rutland activator and now dissolve it in a small amount of water then pour it in. Its just another controllable process that eliminates issues if there is a issue.
