We are looking for a liquid silver like waterbased ink and how to use it. The ink would actually have to be tinted to some different shades.
Any thoughts?

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

All the ink companies have waterbase metallic binder, then you just need the pigments to go along with it. We have been using matsui and virus with good results. The guys in new york stock all the virus stuff

I really dig the Matsui products. You do want to modify it for easier printing though. Beautiful prints.
Jesse Martinez at Matsui will let you know what you need.
I have not tried the Virus.
