Storing plastisol transfers

What are you guys using?

How long do they keep for?

We had some black transfers that didn't seem to want to release properly after being stored for a little while (powder was used)... we only had a few left so we just tossed them and ran new ones.

Looking for an idea of how long and how to store them long term.

This has come up before, and some of us have pressed transfers well over ten years old.
Every now and then someone even comes up with some old Roach stuff, or others from the "Golden Age of Transfers" and that stuff could be 40 years old.

Myself, I store them in zip lock bags

A zip lock bag and a climate controlled environment would be my 2 cents .

Where do you get these ziplocks?  What are they typically used for, storing your sacrificial goat?

I just toss ours in a box, don't seem to hurt them at all even after about 5 years or so, I do a lot of my on transfer numbers/names to match the front print during ball season.  I take some of the old transfers to do test with and they don't seem to be a problem.

Maybe it was misplaced problem for our symptoms.

I've printed transfers from the 80s a few times without issues (besides the smell). I still use transfers I printed myself from 4 or 5 years ago on occasion with no issues.
