BANK of tubes, but about as nice as a back of tubes can possibly be - takes 12 bulbs. get the good ones (Jay Supply) and you can do some decent exposures, closer in power to a small MH than your usual bank of tubes unit.
Bulbs were replaced about 2 months before it went out of service (new bulbs 3/16 - got a unit that could handle our new auto sized screens up and going in May). $500 worth of bulbs. They ain't cheap, but the work well and plug into basic wall power.
Vacuum still functions.
