Epson 1400 print head clogged
« on: November 03, 2011, 06:29:51 PM »
Hey guys
I've got an epson stylus photo 1400, and the cyan print head is clogged.
I tried power cleaning,  didn't work.
Looked online, someone suggested removing the cartridge and spraying some windex in there and letting it sit overnight and that didn't work either.
Any other suggestions?

on a 3000, I'll soak a paper towel with windex, park the head on top of it or maybe even run it over back and forth few times to make sure all the crud is off. It worked so far.

both 1400 and 3000 are dye based (from what I understand) so it should be worth a shot!

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!
