hsa - flattening screen

We are running a 2000 piece Hsa job in a couple of days - 1 grey 2 whites on a 60 /40 blend ... is a flattening screen a good idea...Love it with plastisol

Probably not necessary with HSA, that stuff has the best matt down of any ink. I don't even know
if it would work, it doesn't seem to have that compressible quality that plastisol does.

Are you putting both whites under the grey?

You can use it.

You see moderate results.  But it does improve matte down.

Used it on Matsui 301 Stretch White.
Been in the industry since 1996.  5+ years with QCM Inks.  Been a part of shops of all sizes and abilities both as a printer and as an Artist/separator.  I am now the Ink and Chemical Product Manager at Ryonet.

cool -thank you -- i agree though, ive never seen plastisol look as good.

I have a client wanting to try this.  They have a Workhorse 3011 Quartz dryer.  Thoughts?

i wouldn't try it w a quartz dryer personally... but you you can buy a low cure additive.   im about to buy a bigger dryer / more chamber, just so we can handle this ink properly
