MHM Screen Goes Blank

Hi all. We've got an MHM e-type. Screen kept shutting down but always came back on with a reboot. Now won't come on at all. Hirsch Service is trying but cant' seem to figure it out. Suggested we purchased new mother board. Did that but it didn't help. $900.  Testing everything along the way to be sure it's getting power, A-OK. They're stumped. Machine has been down over a week and no end in sight. Just ordered a new Flash Drive to see if that helps. Hirsch also suggested replacing the PCB connection but they don't have any to send us. Backordered several weeks.

We hooked up a regular monitor and it's just all code, so the control is not booting properly.

Anyone had this happen?

Check the power brick.  Open the panel and locate the power supply.  Try to power up the unit.  If the led light flickers then the power supply is bad.  Around $20 for the part.

Power brick would be my first choice. Try putting a meter on the power supply and see what it reads. Depending on the model, it should read 12 or 24 volts.
Properly working board has a fully functioning monitor port, if that is outputting gibberish, it can only be the power, the program or the board (from what I remember).
