Rip ?
« on: October 07, 2016, 06:05:49 PM »
Is it possible to run two different rip programs on the the same computer, I have accurip which runs my 1430 just fine but I would like to run the my 3000, but accurip don't show it on it's list of printers.  I thought about loading and older rip that did run the old 3000.

I don't see why not, but I have no experience with it.

Just tossing this out there.

I think it depends on the RIPS.  I believe Accurip is treated like a printer and output goes directly to Accurip where Accurip manages the printer.  GhostRip, however, uses the postscript file created from the graphics application, like Corel.

Then again, I could be all wrong.

I`m a "collector" and run Wasatch SoftRip, AccuRip and FilmMaker from my laptop. I like having a choice.
