AccuRIP's website (Freehand Graphics) says they are distinct, it seems the SE version for the bundle are already setup to make films, as opposed to buying the non Screenprint Edition and setting it up yourself after buying/upgrading AccuRIP Black Pearl. So basically, the slower P800 bundle, $1695 from Garston, includes inks and a roll of 17" x 100' film, or the T3270 with the same goodies from Ryonet for $2,795. Or, the T3270 for $2295, with the $149 AccuRIP upgrade to Black Pearl. Black Pearl SE is not available through the upgrade path for the $149. I'm about to run a full size 11 x 14 image in 8 colors on my 3800 and time how long it takes from file upload to last film out, which I think will help me gauge my needs a little better. I'll be back...

Steve

Also seriously thinking about the monthly payments on the 30K ST as well.
I made a mistake once; I thought I was wrong about something; I wasn't

ol man, did you get the screen print edition, or the regular T3270?

Are there any other differences with the "Screen Print Edition" other than bundling Accurip?

That's what I want to know. It's definitely the Accurip. But the T3270 can be used with the normal Accurip if you already have it. I'm not 100% sure they use the same black ink in both. I think they do, but want to try to verify that.

Other than being packaged with Accurip (we already have pearl), is there any other differences? Do they both use the same black ink? Or is the SE version packaged with a different ink?

Ours came with standard Epson inks( which worked fine)...got some refillable carts from inkowl.com... I believe they were 200.00ish... and bulk ink from Vermont Photo inkjet.

Hope I answered your question
