Another one from someone too cheap to buy Find My Font
« on: February 16, 2016, 11:49:30 AM »
I actually tried the trial and during the 30 days, only needed one, and it failed. Still should probably get it.

Yeah, thanks, I got close as well with Matcherator, but it's that "R" that I want.
I also have no idea if the font does that mixing of the upper case and lower case or if that was custom.

Fortunately, the custy is flexible.

How about PFBagueSansPro (Black)
Grant me the ability to change the things I can, the strength to accept the things I cannot and the wisdom to recognize the difference.

Well, it has the "R". If that is the font the "artist" used, he definitely jazzed it up with mixing lower case and small upper case.
Thanks.

Sure, in fact often my first try as WTF is built into CorelDRAW and included on the text drop down menu. It can't handle connected fonts, and over the years, it seems to have lost some of its luster as the go-to place (though they still have a great interactive community service with real people helping people)

One site I found that seems to have one-upped it is Whatfontis

Some more that use different visual clues rather than a downloaded image

In the end though, the free trial and $50 Find My Font program gets rave reviews, though it still doesn't bat 1000

Thanks, but the Damion I see is a cursive script.

Job is long gone though, and I don't even remember what I ended up using

I have found that some of the art I've gotten from customers have contain mixed font letters within the same word or phrase which makes it hard to find the fonts sometimes, I know I did it a few times to get the font look I want or outline the font and pulled the nodes to what I like.
