Another one... What color order would you go on this?

I am using the rutland M3 mixing system, and here is what I was thinking on this one:


1- Base white / flash (flashback)
2- light blue
3- Dark Blue
4- Red / flash (flashback)
5- cool
6- Top White

Thoughts?  Its for 180 shirts, and would love to not have to orbit this 2 times.  But I am willing if I have to...

Your navy will get really light/thin out if you print it wet-on-wet. 

For various reasons, I would strongly recommend a third flash in there.

Will do.  Ill add a 3 rd flash, and run it in orbit.  Im still new to what I am capable of with wet on wet inks.

Drop the top white,

1-p/f/p/f white with flashback  (125 or 135s so its not so thick and will flash quicker)
2- light blue-
3 -dark blue

5- FB on table up or down

6- red

you can halftone the white screen where it underbases the red and navy to keep the hand down, and keep away from the slab feel.

Save a screen, less time registering, every index is a finished shirt and colors will pop better with 2 coats of white on base.

Not sure what type of shirts, as that makes a difference,

but you could go

1 ) Navy
2 ) Base w/ Flash Back
3 ) Light Blue
4 ) Red w/ Flash Back
5 ) Cool
6 ) Spot White

You don't always need to base navy on black and can still get good results / go around one time, sometimes just go up a shade or two as it dulls out not being on a base.
