Wilflex Amazing Base and IMS, not so many formulas

We are using the latest version of the WIiflex IMS and one thing I`ve noticed is that whenever we are trying to find a formula based on the Epic Amazing base there seems to be no result. There is nothing in the database. Sometimes we get lucky and a formula is available but most of the time it seems there are instructions available on how to mix for example Pantone 7499 with the Amazing base. It`s very frustrating at times. Are we the only ones who experiencing these issues?

Did you have the filter on for Epic Mixing Base?  That's easy to do. Might even default to that and then you change it to Amazing Base.

my only issue was that some of the amazing base formulas were 'off'...

(especially in the blues)... but once Steve and Ho got those straightened out everything was fine.

remember that you can always send an email off to their ink department (techserviceswilflex@polyone.com ) and they'll get a formula for you.

Are you using equalizers? We use equalizers and amazing base and have had to request over 90% of the formulas since they weren't updated for that base but same formulas as the older mixing base (150000PFB).

So if the formula date was from 2014 or newer, it's updated and ready to mix.  If it's old (a lot of 1998/1999 etc) it won't mix correctly and needs a new formula.
