problem with over lapping letters

I read somewhere how to fix the issue of over lapping letters as you will see in the attachment. I want the green border around the pink and black zebra fill but not the thin black lines in the green border. I tried to attach the actual Corel X5 file but it would not take, so I am attaching a JPEG

Is this a font? Outline it if it is a font and attach the .eps or .pdf file.

Break the font up first then weld together.

In photoshop I would separate it and then expand the green a few pixels to fill in the space.

it looks like there is a hairline outline around the green.  You can also ungroup everything and weld the green together like ink said.

How did you build this,I tried several different ways and couldn't get the black lines at all

On a related side note, I constantly have to remind myself to weld brushstroke names for cad-cutting vinyl.

We often have extra cuts in our vinyl that didn't need to be there... either due to live trace artifacts or otherwise.

Then there are times that I realize we SHOULD put extra cuts just to make weeding the larger jobs easier.
