Rubbings of utility covers is a long standing art form and read correctly, rather than the mirrored image obtained using them as a printing plate like for the shirt.

Oh, and when I was in school, tombstones were popular sources for rubbings, but don't try coating them with ink or paint to make shirts!

Around here I'm pretty sure our police would tell you to stop or give you a fine, public safety would be there answer to ask you to stop.

Even in the old days I would have made the rub, then shoot to film... I guess today I would do the image, maybe stretch some screens by hand with staples using a nice 10XX fabric, LOL...

   Seems a bit grungy to me, bum urine, and roadkill come to mind, totally would have to agree with dragging a pic into P/s.
