OK Here is a brain buster...
« on: July 13, 2016, 04:43:36 PM »
I have a customer who is a metal fabricator and he is making custom crowns made out of 1/8th inch steel.

He has a full color logo about 12" in length.  Attached is a photo.

I do not know the type of process this would be, and if it is even possible.  Maybe someone knows of something...

Im kind of stuck, but really want to help this guy.

This may be out of the question... But I Thought Id throw it out there.

Could be print or I would look at vinyl, sign guy print and cut. Then you can apply.
Couple thoughts.

Another way is to coat it with a special goop and then sublimate it.

Hydrographics are great for all over patterns...not so good for specific positioning of logos or text.

We wound up going to a car wrapping shop. $60 and done. Easy enough.

Yeah, exact logo placement isn't going to work with water printing, but it's still cool..
