Maximum temp for storing screens with WR925

Hey guys

If anyone with experience with WR925 emulsion can chime in, I would appreciate the help. My screen dry/dark room is usually about 90 degrees F and 38% humidity. The chiller and compressor are also located in the room to isolate the noise from the shop. The temp doesn't seem to affect ChromoBlue.

The directions on my first gallon of WR925 say to store in a dry cool room. Is this a suggestion or a hard rule?

Any suggestions would be appreciated as I am looking to test the emulsion as soon as we get a break in the action here and hopefully work it into our daily routine.

Some emulsions can "pre-harden" with high temps and humidity. A lot of years ago I had a serious problem with Advance Zero Plus doing that in less than 24 hours... a dehumidifier made the difference then, and we keep one in the storage cabinet still...

Ideal storage temps for emulsions is:

Store the emulsion in a cool dry place. Unsensitized emulsion has a shelf life up to 1 year when stored properly. Sensitized emulsion will last up to 45 days with good results when stored properly.

59 to 77 F (15 to 25 C)
30% to 50% relative humidity
