Check out the story of Dov Charney with American Apparel/Los Angeles Apparel on Startup -
https://gimletmedia.com/startup/
It starts with Season 4, Episode 4 and is totally worth listening to.

Been listening to this today, thanks for the recommendation.

We had a lady from a church walk in when the dudes in the shop were watching Boogie Nights.  It wasn't a problem until the sex scene came on while I was taking her order...I had to excuse myself and run back there to get them to turn it off!

Oh yeah...but we don't really have walk in's anymore, but of course when we do Joey is one a rant about a monkey and a muffler!

I wanted to unearth this thread to see if anyone had any newer podcast suggestions related to the industry. Got some wireless headphones and need something other than music to listen to from time to time.

I dont think this was prevoisly mentioned but a really great one is The Big Idea by Marshall Atkinson by Inksoft. It has some really great interviews and a wide range of topics related to our industry

I really like the NPR one called How I Built This.

I used to listen to a lot of Gary Vee too.

But now I am on audiobooks way way more. My commute is like 10-15min but even that is enough to get me through a bunchhhhh of books!
