So 4 years ago I was fresh to the screen printing industry, printing on my Ryonet silver press. No proofs, eyeballing pms colors, doing pretty much everything wrong looking back at it.
This is why being organized with your art, and proofs and color specs is all important.
I printed a job 4 years ago for 22 v necks. 2 color front 2 color back.
That same client needs 26 shirts this last week. "Np problem" bella V neck shirts, easy peasy...
I get an email 2 days later complaining about placement on the shirts. I really always have a problem with womens shirts placement, but I always seem to get it "right". This one wasnt "exactly like the one we printed before"
Trying to find my sample from 4 years ago was not an option, but I did get a comparison email of the placement between the 2 shirts.
I dont think it is all that bad, but they dont like it, so I am making it right for them. I have been doing tech packs and mockups, and keep all my ducks in a row. Just because, you never know what you will need.
I feel like I am still learning, and ever more so, I am getting reaffirmed that the steps I take now to be organized, are worth the time. And yes I started counting in all of my drop shipped shirts from clients, after my last ordeal...
