Help with Corel color set up
« on: June 23, 2016, 09:40:29 AM »
We have two printers with Coreldraw both printing color prints on a Epson 3880.
One gets very accurate colors the other is totally off.   Same file, same printer.
Where do I make changes to correct this?

I don't know how to do it within Corel, but I thought monitor to printer calibrations are done through a color spectrophotometer.

We are using Corel X6.
The problem is not the monitor it's the color it's printing.
We print a mock up for the printers to get an idea of the color and on one computer it's totally out.
There must be a color profile set up for Corel or the printer.

if i understand you right you have 2 separate pc's running to coreldraws and separate printers.  but both printer are same but getting different results.    if you think the issue is with the CD setup then you can always export you workspace and import it to the other.  this will copy all profile settings.    for me though to ensure that CD is the culprit I would print the same image off the web and see if the results are the same.  if so then it is a CD issue.

I would make sure under tools/color management, that they are both set up the same, then check to make sure that they printers are both set-up the same in each computer.

I have 2 computers with Corel printing to the same printer.
One prints the right colors and the other doesn't.

Folks are curious as to which version(s) of CorelDRAW you are running, but I would still suggest that you go to the Help tab and read about Color Management.
Although I don't understand all of the options for this stuff, I would first check if both computers' copies of CorelDRAW are running with the same settings.
