what do you drive?
« on: June 03, 2016, 10:15:33 AM »
I'm in the market for a pick up. Been driving a jeep for 10+ years and I'm ready to move on. What's everyone driving?

Not a pickup kinda guy, but most of my friends seem to like the Ford F150 and up...

I'm a Toyota guy all the way.  I will eventually be upgrading to a pickup, probably a Tundra.

2003 Toyota Tacoma with the longer bed. Feels a little small every once in awhile, but more than worth it for the gas mileage and absolutely easy to drive and park anywhere. My stepdad has a newer Tundra and parking that thing is a pain in the ass.

Also, they really hold their value well. People offer to buy it from me weekly...

Just replaced my 2006 Silverado with a 2016 GMC.  I like the new truck, I'm just not sure if it will be as reliable as the 2006 because of all the electronics.  It's basically a rolling computer.
It's not a job if you love doing it.

First truck was an '86 Hilux. Literally Marty McFly. Still have it.

'14 Tacoma is nowadays. 10 million terrorists can't be wrong.

I have a 2008,  bought it with 0 miles on it, as of today I have 36k miles on it. Gas consumption is not an issue, I live a little over a mile from my shop. Think I want a Silverado but the Dodge Rebel looks interesting. I'm not a brand guy, I want the best bang for my buck...maybe one of those monster trucks from the Diesel Brothers. My FIL has a Tundra, it's not the best looking truck on the road

well i do not drive it but my dad does and that is the avalanche chevy.   I hate the body style but he was rear ended by a tacoma truck going 40mph  and the tacoma was totaled,  but the avalanche had very little damage.

Oh yeah, to answer the subject question.
2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata
2015 Subaru Forester (the box hauler when needed)

My old BMW R100S Airhead less and less as I get older, but one does not "drive" a bike, but rather "rides".

I drive a corvette, but my fishing truck now which I've been driving since 1990 brandnew back then, is a F150, the F150 now days are really nice looking trucks wouldn't dare take it in the woods or off road like I do my old F150 now.
