brushes for s mesh

I'm going to give s mesh a try. Recognizing I will need to be more careful handling the mesh. What is the recommended brush for working with s mesh? Are the scrubby pads from CCI soft enough? I see there are really nice flagged end brushes from McDermid, but can't seem to find a supplier. A little guidance would be appreciated.

I use normal scrub pads no problem.

I only use the cheap ones from the dollar store on Smesh.

They feel soft against your face, and are 10 for a dollar.

I use soft bristle auto brushes that were suggested by jsheridan on the boards a few years back. They work excellently and last forever vs the pads.

Yeah that's the one I'm pretty sure. They are a lot quicker to due to the size of the brush itself and the way you hold them vs the scrub pads.

Yep!

Those be the ones.. get a few as the stain remover tends to soften the bristles after a few months.

Used those and others like them for years. LOVED EM!  cheap, easy and just toss em when they get limp...

then we had a drain clog and finally had to call a plumber

think 100' of pipe.. clogged solid with red fibers..

Thank you! So nice to start out on the right foot. I'm leaning toward the polypropylene brush, but will pick up a couple of scrub pads too. Thought the scrub pads might be too aggressive.

get a typical quality paint brush, not the kind with the plastic bristles but a good brush for varnish , chop off the bristles to about half length.
use this to de-ink and the car brush to degreasae.
The paint brush lasts forever
we even use one to help wash out screens especially with halftones
