Windows 10 Mail
« on: April 27, 2016, 12:07:08 PM »
A couple of days ago our art computer decided (on it's own) that it want to be a Win 10 machine instead of 7. After using it for the last 2 days, I kinda like it :)

My question is regarding the Mail app. We are currently on Outlook 2003 and am wondering if anyone has made the migration, and if there were any issues.

I posted to another similar issue but I might recommend getting off of Outlook

Mail in outlook is stored on your drive and lose the drive and you lose all your mail unless regular backups.

I went cloud based years ago and never looked back.

Outlook is stored on your computer if you use pop3. IMAP is stored on your website or mail server and synced to all your devices (work computer, home computer, iPad, phone etc...). I would stick with outlook but fast forward 10 plus years.
