Hi from Austin Texas

Hi everyone. I am in north Austin Texas and run a small Screen Printing Shop out of my garage.
Im in the middle of making a air pre registration platen / pallet kind of like the VRS but with air suction to eliminate the need of carrier sheets, Im installing the three bumper pins at the moment.
Not much else going on lol, just wanted to say hi.

I'll try to post a picture of the air pre-registration pallet if for no other reason but to see how to post a picture haha

Cool Thanks Alan! I have been super busy setting up more stuff I found on Craigslist that I couldnt pass on. I got a Riley Hopkins 4/4 press, a Work horse automatic Flash unit that swivels on a timer with a extra complete head. and 5 aluminum platens along with a bunch of wood platens. All for $650....... Crazy good deal.
Here are some pictures I took the day I brought them here.

I am going over the press cleaning it and plan on using it for the stickers and heat transfer stuff to keep the 6/4 Riley clear. I sold the Vastex 6/4 since it was in my mind better to keep the 4/4 Riley since the parts are interchangeable with my other one.
Its been a blast but cleaning the gunk off the legs was such a big issue, I ended up using a heat gun and a strong ink degradent to get it clean.

Also in Austin.  Welcome to the boards!  I was actually the first one to contact the guy selling that stuff, but then he ended up calling me back after we already discussed a meeting time and telling me he gave his address out to a bunch of people and it was first come first serve.  Not interested in racing people across town for equipment...lol.  FANTASTIC DEAL THOUGH!  Congrats!  I was planning on flipping it anyway  

If you ever have any questions or need help with anything, Alan is a fantastic resource and we are lucky he is local to us.  His shop is awesome too, so definitely check it out.  If you want to see the other side of the business (the small, mostly DIY equipment, eternally chaotic and cramped side) you're more than welcome to check out my shop too.

Thanks, I would love to see some Chaotic DIY cramped work area, If its more cramped than mine I would stop complaining haha.
The funny thing is I called the guy and he said it was already sold, but then he called me back the next day while I was at the dentist with my kids lol. luckily he was just 3 miles away so I ran over. I would have bet I missed it but it turned out pretty good. The second Flash drier head was a big bonus but if you could see the gunk on the press, Ugh..... I dont know how any shirt could have been printed on it without getting ruined by all the grime.

I am done with the bottom and I have one head cleaned. three more to go and it should look close to new..

Cool man, I definitely wanted to share it with everyone so they could see that its not always bad on Craigslist... Very frustrating at times but like a treasure hunt lol

You can see what a pain it was cleaning on it but still way worth it.

I shot this video with my phone the day after getting it and had no idea how hard it would be to clean the bottom legs. I may post a follow up video showing what a pain it was.
