Tri Blends & DTG

Any one running tri blends with there DTG machines, if so how are they working out? have an order for 50 units and my regular guy is not so confident but he has not a lot of experience with blended fabrics.

Negative, will not work that I have seen. Pretreat stains them basically.

We have had some success running dark tri-blends with 2 very light coats of pretreat.

We had one work, then one not, zero different in the way we did it. So if you run that out over 50 shirts, you do the math

the M&R also has different chems.  I am not running stock Brother PT either.  I find it stains much easier.

On lights it's no problem, I still would pretreat them with CMYK only pretreat.

I have a back log of 100% cotton dtg work, so one of those things just no time to play around a lot with it.

understandable.  It certainly isn't enjoyable printing, cotton is much easier and much forgiving.

There is a place up here with a couple Kornit Avalanches. They won't touch anything with less than 80% cotton, no exceptions. Hope that helps...

Sorry if this is duplicate, I am not sure where the the original went,

Anyone with a Fire Fly can print On tri blends and 50/50 's with a Dtg printer.
Send me a message an I can see you up with a contractor that has the tools.  If this is a only a one time need I might have a few who would take it.

Examples:
The red one is a 50/50 printed on a Kornit AVK + fire fly
The Blue one is a 25/25/50 tri blend printed on a brother + fire fly (washed 25 times)

Last one
