Electric Pressure Washer flushing out bypas tube
« on: March 30, 2016, 09:16:48 AM »
We have had an electric Northstar pressure washer working flawlessly for over 10 years.

Today it started flushing water out the -bypass tube?-

Seems like a seal or component failed?
Any ideas?

Ok as you know I've said us screen printers are tinkerer, thinkerers.

Company noted it is just a safety release valve. Brass tube about .75"X3"
Relief as it is only a $28 part.

Tinkerer temporary fix- cut up canvas bag stuffed in tube to hold pressure,
still a trickle, but screen printer scrappy fix for the mean time.  ;D

Thanks Mr. B for the pm insight.
