"He who marches out of step hears another drum." ~ Ken Kesey
I have a question....will this press bring in more business? Is it better than the R Jennings? I am not trying to sound rude, but aren't there better things to focus on than fixing up an old press?
You need a plan, rather than just add equipment in case you hire or so that your shop "looks" better.GO TALK TO SAM.
You want a 2nd manual press and hired help to turn out more work you can not make enough money on?......Using hired help on a manual press is just "pissing" profit away.....If you have enough work for hired help, get an auto press or 10 or 15 years from now you will see you spent 100s of thousands of dollars on wages that you would have saved had you bought an auto press early on....You are taking food out of your family's mouth....
Actually, I am making my shop look cooler right now as well. It's been put on hold since I can't get enough time to do it.I agree with royster on the auto. You can find a good auto for around $8,000 for a 6 color. You will have more energy and more output with an auto.
cough. . I have the auto you need. . cough. . .I'll even work out a payment plan. .
