No work, out bid on the larger jobs, shitty city maybe, and shitty shop space? I'm out of breath just carring 4 cases of shirts up the 100 something stairs to my space.

Check it! Think I can get an auto up here much less 40 cases of shirts lol. Freight elevator hasn't been in service since the 70's . 

3 sets of these bitches... good for the heart though.

I would like to know more about your suggestions on marketing materials and email blasts? I know to get my shop to where I can rely on the business to support my family I need to do alot of marketing and selling but trying to find ways to do that while working a day job 50 hours a week is a tough proposition. Any suggestions?

What funny is I was killing it on Myspace I had one of those message blasters I could blast thousands of people in less than an hour, almost seconds later I would have a heap of mail to go through . Myspace these days is a ghost town, facebook is cool but you cant reach out to as many people.

What does the location of your shop have to do with any thing?.....I am in Canada and sell all over Canada and the US.....

75% of my business is in Ohio, Mass and Pa the other 25% is local. I only have those customers from the Myspace blast and thier word of mouth they spread to others. My website does zilch, zero, nadda.

shaun, really man why would you lease a spot 100 stairs up and tote shirts everyday?I  dont understand that unless you are really set on remaining a studio type shop,and if thats your plan then great. I think you should find a first floor space, sell your JENNINGS and the WORKHORSE and take that money give it to jay as a down payment and go get that press. Brother its not everyday someone offers to privately finance a piece of equipment. autos run 24 pc. orders along with the big ones. there are several guys around who dont even have a manual in their shop.  just my .02

Rents cheap , money talks... 340.00 a month  1200 sqft. includes all utillites , then again nothing comes without sacrifice which is my legs.
