Converting Mini Sprint to propane
« on: March 10, 2016, 09:08:46 AM »
Hey guys
My propane supplier wants to know is any hardware conversion (orifice etc) necessary to convert the oven (2007 Mini Sprint 2000) from natural gas to use propane gas.
I was thinking someone out there has "been there...done that" wisdom to share.

I noticed there is software recognition of fuel type.

Thanks

Jack

or M&R... I believe they have a kit to change... I can't remember if it's just a fuel jet or different burner tho.

You'll need a second regulator to step down the higher pressure propane to 6" WC, no orifice or burner changing needed

CSG is correct. No other changes needed.

Even though it came with a regulator check the range on it, propane is a higher pressure that natural gas. That is why I mentioned you will probably need a higher pressure regulator to step down prior to the regulator you have on there now if it was previously being used for natural gas.
