I'm looking to do a side by side comparison of old-school mesh abraders (ulano 11?) vs "newer-school" abraders (saati direct prep1)... on thin-thread mesh.
if someone has some sitting on a shelf and would care to mail me an ounce or 2 (I'd even be more than happy to pay for shipping), that would be great.
plan is to abrade a bit of a screen with each, and then compare under a microscope to see what it does to the mesh (before, old, new).
I'll be posting pics with the results..
regardless of what the current 'best practices' are, we get much better emulsion adhesion here using the directprep1 before the screen goes into 'service'...
