this is kinda a poor pic of how we have it setup, but:

we have 2 tails that come down from the ceiling (4ga/4 conductor (3phases + Ground)) connected with a CS8365C/CS8364C 50a-3phase twistlock connector pair

they are hung from the ceiling (nearly 30 feet up) with Kellum grips
http://www.zoro.com/hubbell-wiring-device-kellems-support-grips/g/00102552/

we did 2 drops as we sometimes like a 2nd flash around head 6 or 7.

the drops are on opposite sides of the press.  drop 1 is right between heads 2 and 3 on the outer edge of the press, drop #2 is right between heads 7 and 8.  They are approx 7 feet off the ground, so you don't hit your head on the connector if it's not plugged in.

when we 'open' the head to put the flash in, we snake the cable across the screen holder to pick up some of the slack as well as pull it in the direction we need.

Thanks- and thanks Mr B. for pm.

jvanick --do you have anything to keep cord from slack letting itself
out and falling into path of carriage while press is moving for long periods of time?

no need... the cord from the ceiling stops above the press.. the slack from the cord on the flash is captured in the screen holder that's flipped up.
