Just picked one of these up for off a guy along with a huge one armed bandit in great shape. Price was right: FREE! It hasn't been used in years though, and it looks like it needs a little work, but I don't mind projects when the price is right.
From what I can tell this is at least a 3k MH unit, but I can't find any info really about it on Google. It uses an old style of 220 plug, so I have to do some rewiring to get it up and running, and I would bet it needs a new bulb etc. Currently it has a Philips HPM20 bulb, which appear to be a 3k MH bulb. Not sure how interchangeable these bulbs are, but that particular one seems to no longer be available anywhere, or is super expensive compared to other 3k bulbs I see. It has a hi/lo intensity switch, but not sure if that means it would drop down to 1k or 1.5k or if it could hold a stronger bulb than 3k. There isn't any info on the machine itself that says what strength bulb it will support.
Really I am just looking for any info anyone might know about this unit, or contact info for someone who might know anything. I don't really care if I end up dumpstering it since it was free and the one armed bandit was really what I was after, but it would be an upgrade for me over my 1k unit if I can get it working.
