Talk me into going to LB
« on: January 08, 2016, 10:50:57 AM »
I don't need any new equipment. I like my supplies. Not looking for anything. Why should I go to ISS LB? (I feel like a pinata now)

LB is a great show, I have to travel far and always go to LB because it is one of the biggest.
You will always learn something new, keep up to date with the industry even if you are not buying anything.
I always attend a few lectures, learnt a lot from Pierre and Richard last year.
If it didn't cost me so much and I wasn't moving my plant I'd be there, hopefully next year.
Rich even buys the MHM users supper, great guy.
You also meet some cool guys (seems that this is a all male club) and put some faces to those names on the TSB.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Dave, if you come to LB, I'll be your friend...

If you don't need to go then you don't need to go...
But my argument for attending would be that I don't know of another US based trade show that offers more variety of equipment & supplies than ISS Long Beach.  By far I would say that ISS Long Beach is the best garment / screen print show to attend.

I wouldn't look at it as trying to switch out for something you already have, but trying to find something you don't currently have/do.  Find new business opportunity through ideas, techniques, inks, products, innovations, etc.

The bottom line for any member of this board, is not only is ISS Long Beach apparently the best place to see the current industry trends, but the opportunity to do it alongside many of the same "board buddies" that you have been schmoozing with for the last decade or more.
So Dave, are we signing you up for dinner?
Saturday, January 23, 7:00 PM Yardhouse

And all of you others, remember to PM me or Pierre to get on the list.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

If you do make it, we can talk about licensing as I'm gearing up to build a shop to handle lots and lots of shirts.
