Anatol Horizon Mini
« on: October 09, 2011, 04:36:20 PM »
Anyone using a Anatol Horizon Mini? Any thoughts on them? I was thinking that might be next years purchase. Here is why I am thinking this one, it has a smaller foot print, a cheaper price $17000.00 single phase electric and smaller air consumption. What I need to know, how well does it hold registration, how durable is it and and how is the tech support?  Is there another similarly priced press that is comparable in size? I am currently printing from my home and doing the whole controlled growth thing. It seems like an auto would allow me to be more consistent, and faster, doing this as a second career the more time I can save printing would mean the more time I could be out selling my services.  Also I am getting addicted to buying cool printing stuff and I do not believe there is anything cooler in the industry then an auto press lol.

I have a mini and that is the reason I bought ours is small it fits very well in our shop and Anatol has been very good with tech support.  The machine is very solid, holds registrstion just as good as the big machines I do butt reggies on mine all the time a month or so after ours was set up we did a run of 2k shirts never missed a beat dead on from first to last shirt. I won't lie and say I,ve never had problems, but this is a machine we are talking about and a call to anatols' tech fix me right up and never lost a days work.  Very easy to opperate  and with the right screens and angles you can push the print size higher.  We run ours on a 5 hp 80gal air compressor and it handles all 6 heads or 7 at once without any drop in production or speed.

We are waiting on a Titan which is pretty close to the same thing and have bought it for the same reasons. It takes a while to get one here in Australia (ordered mine at the end of June) and they cost a whole lot more ($38,000.00 with one flash for an 8/7) so I get jelous when I see the prices you guys pay. The container with mine in it is due into the Port of Brisbane on the 15th.

Attending to a trade show talk to the manufacturers as well as owners of this brand of machine at the show
would be a good start to get some insights just my 2 cents
