M&R Fusion Dryer?

I was at a friends shop on Friday and he was running a job. His dryer was at 999 degrees and the belt was running pretty fast (Maybe 15-20 seconds through the dryer). Is that typical for this dryer?

We have one. Does mostly numbers on poly. No.
But if it works for him, go for it.

the temp you saw was panel temperature. We have some customers that run those speeds on plastisol so yes it can be normal..

I just got a 36-4-4 Fusion last week.  It's set at 1,000 and belt speed of 7.  Using a heat gun with the red dot sight the ink on the garments is hitting about 345-360 in center of dryer typically.  Seems to be doing great at that speed.  Tech that was there said that's where he sees most of the Fusions set at.

We have a fusion - run cotton tees around there depending on season and if our garage doors are open - 1000 / belt speed 4-5 on dial

dri fits - 900 at same speed usually

hoods 900-925 and speed varies but sort of close to that.

We use plastisol

Fusions are available in 36", 48" and 60" wide belts, and with 6' or 10' heat chamber on the 36" model, and 10' only on the 48" model.  Throughput depends on the heat chamber length and lots of other factors, but 20 second cure times for plastisol aren't uncommon.  We have many customers running 36" x 6' Fusions behind an automatic and a manual press, and they don't have issues with the dryers slowing down their production...
