M&R wings for flood bars
« on: December 02, 2015, 06:28:11 PM »
I am searching high and low for some of the old style plastic clamp on wings for the floods bars for a M&R press. Anybody know where I can find some?
Thanks for any help.
I'd bee glad to buy some old ones if anybody has some.

we threw a bunch of those in the dumpster back in the day,  probably easier to just some winged flood bars.

Same here.  We debated keeping them but realized they were just sitting there for years and any time we used them they went right back up in the box.

I don't know what it was about their design but, in my experience, they were barely any more effective than just using none at all and now you have to clean these two other things.

I like the M&R mechanical wings the most.  Super pain to clean, but just leave them in your white, black and highlight white always.  Just make sure you leave them a little breathing room so they don't bind up against the edge of the blade and maybe tear a screen in the process.

The perfect balance of convenience, easy cleanup and effectiveness is definitely the Action winged flood bars.  We have mostly those these days.

Scott, I know I have a bag of these somewhere.  They're yours, email me.

But like Dan I recommend winged floods.  We use action,  the crew preferred cleaning them to the m&r ones but both are good.
