Even with a lot of imprints (presumably) that is a screaming deal on a challenger III.

So how do you bid on this stuff?  I'm on the bidspotter site but not totally sure how they would work out freight, etc.

it's just about over, but typically you just bid, and then you have to find someone to tear it down, and freight for you, unless you go there and do it yourselves.

We bought a screen coater, and a drum of texcharge activator! for pennies.

Yeah looks like I missed the party.  It's cool just looking at the setups used by a shop this large.  I love the double bay, super vented reclaim booths.

in all the years i've been looking, i've only seen 3 print shop auctions in Texas. One of them we scored a really really beat up Sprint international, for $1500. we use it everyday!

Ive seen some in arkansas and kansas etc, but not here.  I'm still sad I wasn't looking for a one armed bandit when you were selling one.  One popped up recently in arlington, but it was a little too big (5x12 table) and he wanted too much for it (in my opinion).

That is quite the deal and I can understand why no one posted that auction and kept it to themselves ahead of time...

I did manage to get a 12/14 CH3 for a good price(70K) 2 years ago but it was pretty used (5mil imprints almost), had to spend quite a bit on new parts for it and still working out a couple small kinks but it was worth it.

When we have to move again I almost want to just replace both of our presses instead of moving them...the option will definitely be weighed out...it would reduce downtime for sure, so maybe it would just be for one of the presses. /end of sidetracking
