anti stick foil

Is there any anti stick foil ?. We use matsui 301 water based. Its stick foil

Colin has it right with the links above, ad some foil resist to the ink.

Another thing though, waterbase shouldn't stick to foil if properly cured, we had the same issue and just did less pressure when foiling, and it solved that issue.  Maybe dial back your pressure, up your time.

Did you try with the Matsui white or another HSA white?

From what I remember of the 301, it's more like HSA white than regular waterbase.

Definitely grabby under heat and pressure.

 Matsui softener mixed in at something like 10% acts as a foil resist.

All hsa contains binders . When we heat press the  binder melt and stick the foil. Is there any good foil resist name?

That used to be standard operating procedure before there were resists and all. Plastisol where the foil goes, and waterbase the rest of the image.

Sometimes if you add a clear gel on top of the plastisol through a 110m it will stick better to where you want it to and require less pressure on the heat press. As always, wash test.
