VoIP phones
« on: October 23, 2015, 01:42:12 PM »
Our phone system is getting pretty old, and we're thinking of a new system, and my accountant mentioned trying out Ring Central, cloud based phones. We aren't out of office very much, so those features aren't critical to us, but the rest of the general features are good. Does anyone have any experiences of wisdom to share? Thank in advance...

We have Ring Central. Very easy to use. Love it.

No longer have any phone lines, all Ethernet going through the office.
I spend too much money on equipment...

I was looking last night, but it was late, starting to glaze over... $30.00 per user per month sound right?

Sounds about right? Haven't seen a bill in a few years.

It came out to being much cheaper than buying a phone system and having phone lines. You can literally adjust everything online from anywhere. Block callers, etc. We have ours set so everything rings through to my cellphone as I am never at my desk.

We have VoIP they work fine. Lots of features we never use. Got ours through Costco, I think something like $150 in equipment up front then somewhere around $60 a month for three lines.

Before you guys get screwed contact Gilligan! He hooked us up NICELY! The phones are a initial cost($60-400) but $100 lasts us about a year I belive! That is WITH calls to Canada and Europe. We have like 6 lines, there are a million options if you want to learn the whole back end. Customers can actually text us as well(actually gets used a lot) and it goes to our email, our response goes back to them as a text...

Hopefully I'll never have to grow up and get a real job...
