color separations for a reactive dye print

Need to create a color separation for a piece that will be printed with reactive dye. Would any of you know if there are any different 'rules' to follow when art will be printed this way?

I would image layering colors, using a highlight white for example, might not work well. Any insights would be appreciated.

It is almost impossible to print reactive dyes without altering their viscosity.

I believe they use alginate to add the viscosity needed. I am mostly wondering if I can use the same sim process separation for something that will be printed this way.
