Talking about Gildan, do they actually offer as well a quality t-shirt, not the rag the T-2000 is. I mean a nice well made garment. Do they have something like this in their regular line up?

No, but Gildan owns Anvil and Anvil has decent quality garments. I was surprised at how nice the 780 was compared to the 5000 or 64000
True but I was wondering if there are any descent tees under the Gildan brand name?

Huge fan of the anvil 980/780 etc

I think the g5000 and g2000 are fine values. Cheap as dirt but print and wear fine. I print them all the time for schools and events and people are always happy with them. I see a lot fewer stains and holes than I did a few years ago too. Shrug.

Just as a heads up on this CC garbage. Got word today that they don't even have shirts on hand to dye, and aren't really even sure when they'll be getting more imported in to restock everything. They're putting a 30-day backorder timeframe on everything, but i'm sitting at 30+ days already on an order and there's no hope in sight. Most likely won't have anything on hand and ready to ship until the end of the year.

I was told that they will not be dying any shirts in the US. All shirts will be dyed in Latin America and shipped through Charleston. They are also only offering their most popular shirt colors. No more 40... colors to choose from.

So basically they are killing the brand, because the only people who order them are frats and sororities and they want the funky colors...I've never printed on so much seafoam and weird purples and oranges in my life...

90% of my customers are the college kids, so this sucks.
Looks like I'll be looking to bring in my own brand stuff and dye in-house now.

That information is completely incorrect although subject to change

Just repeating what 2 inside distributor reps (Alpha & Bodek) told me on Tuesday. See what happens.

I was just on their updated website and it looks like nothing has changed for the number of colors they offer. Item 1717  offers 75+ colors for 2016.  A 2016 virtual catalog available soon. Much improved website.
