"He who marches out of step hears another drum." ~ Ken Kesey
There are more than a few equipment brokers that have gone away only to come back because they can't do it in another industry (rip people off essentially). I'm very surprised the most well known of the equipment brokers hasn't slipped back into our realm, but I still wouldn't bet any amount of money that he'll never come back. Beds for big folks must be a booming industry or he's found other "soft spots" to exploit.
The industry needed someone to set the bar real low so we could all understand how bad it could be. We miss him for that. Haha.

I'm one of the few who sorta miss the guy. I just made the last payment on my press and my Print--Ex parts are chugging along as well as the Anatol parts lol if that says anything.

I've heard that same reasoning with regards to politics lately, and by both sides Quote from: IntegrityShirts on March 17, 2016, 10:47:47 AMQuote from: alan802 on March 17, 2016, 10:12:30 AMThere are more than a few equipment brokers that have gone away only to come back because they can't do it in another industry (rip people off essentially). I've heard great things about it (not really, just thought I'd see if anybody's sarcasm meter needs some testing) but all in all, it might have potential in the right hands. But it really needs parts, and I don't know how readily available parts are for it, especially here in the states. It's a generation 1 upgraded to a 2nd gen, which isn't as good as the 2nd gens but certainly better than the 1st gen. I haven't seen this press operate since it was installed and heard it liked to take long walks if not properly leashed (bolted to the floor). I do believe for the right price and in the right shop it would be better than printing manually . I think what he's asking is too much. If all heads worked perfectly and the flash units were good I still don't know that it would be worth the selling price due to parts and service. I could see a shop taking a chance on it if they already had a Prism and were experienced enough with them that they could keep it spinning, but at the asking price and knowing about what was paid for it...it's not selling any time soon.
He's still at it, posted today just 29 minutes ago. FYI
He called me a while back to talk about this. It's a relabeled RPM. Sadly is a great press but the manufacturer can't find a great sales team for them in the US.
